La Laguna Restaurant | Bali Travel
I couldn’t write a blog about our Bali adventures without writing about La Laguna Restaurant. This place is truly a magical gypsy dream come true. Located in the northernmost end of Seminyak right along the Lagoon or “La Laguna” pronounced in Spanish. An alfresco tapas restaurant and bar in the middle of paradise.
First, as you enter you walk along a cobbled path, you see an antique host stand true to the restaurants bohemian style. A perfect Lychee and Plum photo-op, in fact this entire place is a dream photo-op!
You can spend an entire day taking pictures here. Also walk around exploring, or lounging and enjoying the incredible views.
The Decor is Everything
The decor has a gypsy boho chic vibe, adorned with vintage metal chairs and floral patterned cushions throughout the space which gives La Laguna an authentic antique flare.
Our table was on the al fresco deck facing the lagoon. Arriving at the perfect time, right before sunset! La Laguna, known for being one of Bali’s best “sunset spot” destinations. A bridge gives you access to cross over the lagoon to the beach.
Tapas and Cocktails
We enjoyed a selection of tapas style dishes and drinks. I had a glass of rose and a couple fresh watermelon mint infused Mocktails, which of course I spiked with vodka.
Vintage Gypsy Caravans
My favorite were the ornate vintage caravans. On the exterior, hand painted floral designs with stained glass and iron work. Mini lanterns which illuminated the wagons exterior. On the inside, they were perfectly decorated. One with an antique dresser and cute trinkets throughout.

So Pretty Inside
Tarot Card Reader
In addition, within one of the caravans was a tarot card reader, so Diana and I curiously went for some tarot insight. We were greeting by the psychic dressed in true gypsy attire.
Al Fresco Grass Area
Finally, Diana and I joined the rest of our group in the al fresco grass area. It was decorated with rustic wooden tables and bohemian pillow seats where one can lounge around, and listen to live music. We enjoyed a glass of red wine and dessert while laying under the stars.
